What is PAS (Personal Assistance Services)?
Personal Assistance Services (PAS) is a nontechnical, medically related personal care service provided to eligible individuals who, due to health conditions or disabilities, experience limitations in performing essential daily living activities. Services are authorized based on a practitioner’s statement of medical need and are delivered by trained attendants.

PAS helps individuals maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life in their homes and communities.
Members are assessed by service coordinator or social worker from Star +Plus Provider or Health and Human Services to explore needs. Physician will need to sign a Practitioner’s Statement of Medical Need.
